Sherrington is on somewhat of a roll of late, with wins over former challengers Shannan Taylor (TKO5) and Rubin Williams (TKO4).

Sherrington’s record stands at 26-5 (17 KO) with the majority of those defeats occurring while his career was in its infancy.

Shannan Taylor was a multiple Australian Amateur Champion who turned professional in 1992. In his third fight Shanan won the Australian Junior Welterweight (140lb) title by halting WA's talented Shane Riley in Perth.

Bob turned professional in 1987, first being trained by Ces Waters, and after fifteen fights was a less than stellar 7-7-1.

He started to hit his straps in the mid 90's and in April of 1998 pushed Joe Bugner to a controversial split decision at Carrara for the Australian and WBA-PABA titles.

Col turned professional in 1992 as a pencil thin tungsten tough cruiser weight and is a former Queensland champion in that division, winning that title in 1993 by out pointing Dallas Daley on the Thunder-Bowen WBF title card in Townsville.
